I am a physical therapist powered by the connections I make with patients through the stories of their lives. This platform will connect you to moments and details of strangers’ lives, and move you deeply, unexpectedly, as they have done to me.

I also wanted to create a book club built on safety, fun, and minimal commitment. As much as I have been shaped by the stories of my patients/clients, I have learned from and been shaped by the stories told in the books I love. These are books of Black love, self recovery, mystery, drama, friendship, and becoming. I created this site, and this cute club, to reflect who I am and connect with those like me. This is a space for thoughtful people — especially clinicians and book lovers — to reflect, feel deeply, and engage with stories that matter.

Finally, a passionate health equity advocate, I offer my expertise in physical therapy to those unable to access it elsewhere. I once had an outpatient clinic but was burdened by the stress of charging people “market prices”. Through this site I offer a small fee for 15-38 min consultations with me where you can ask questions and I can give you exercises and advice to address your musculoskeletal impairments (pain, decreased range of motion, decreased strength, decreased balance, decreased endurance/activity tolerance, etc.).
